3 CARD POKER | RULES AND GUIDE BY 11IC BLOG

When making your Vegas bucket list, you should make time for the amazing shows, plan at least a few meals at the delicious one-of-a-kind restaurants, and make sure you have some energy for the world-class nightlife, but you should also find the time to learn how to win at 3 card poker.

The popular table game Three Card Poker has become popular not only because it's fun, but also because it's easy to learn. Three Card Poker is like getting two Vegas casino games in one. Not only can you play against the dealer, but you can also win based on the quality of your cards.

The object of the game is to make the best possible poker hand with only three cards.

HOW TO PLAY 3 CARD POKER

✔ To begin with, the player places an ante bet and/or a pair plus bet, wagering that he will have a hand of at least a pair or better.

✔ Three cards are then dealt face down to each player and the dealer. You play only against the dealer and not against other players at the table.

✔ The player then looks at his hand and decides whether to place a play bet (equal to the amount he placed as an ante bet) whether or not to pit his hand against the dealer's hand. Optimal strategy says that the player must "play" all major hands of Queens, Sixes and Fours and fold all worst hands.

✔ If a player folds, the hand is over, and the dealer collects the player's ante bet and pair plus stake. When the player places a play bet, the cards are turned over to determine if the player has a better hand than the dealer.

✔ If the dealer has a jack hand or worse, the bet is returned to the player. If the dealer has a high or higher hand, the bet and ante are paid 1 to 1 if the player has a better hand than the dealer.

✔ If the dealer's hand is superior, the ante and play bets are removed. The Pair Plus bet is determined entirely regardless of what the dealer owns.
